The broad primary goal for the National Driver Safety Institute is a meaningful reduction in traffic accident frequency achieved through effective online driver improvement and defensive driver education.
The National Transportation Safety Board has reported in recent years disturbing increases in both traffic accident frequency and fatality rates. They cite increased general traffic congestion, particularly in urban areas, and increased distracted driving with the use of mobile devices while driving being a particular challenge. These issues are primary contributors to increasing automobile insurance rates across the United States.
The NDSI firmly believes that improved online educational content can serve an effective role in addressing these problems. We are committed to the development and innovative distribution of such content.
